January 16, 2010 Myhre Equine Complex Ski Joring Demonstration & Clinic Saturday January 16 at 11:00 AM The Myhre Equine Clinic and High Knoll Equestrian Center will once again turn up the country music, and cowboy and cowgirl up for some extreme ski joring fun! Riders tack up their horses, skiers and snowboarders clip in. The skier is towed by a horse and rider while maneuvering down a course of obstacles including four foot jumps, jousting rings, and gates at speeds up to 40 miles per hour. This is a great family sport enjoyed by all ages and disciplines. Sign up for our Ski Joring Clinic. As the rider you will learn how to train your horse to accept towing a skier or snowboarder and set them up for each obstacle. As a skier or snow boarder you will learn from a professional ski instructor how to maneuver effectively through the course and work your towrope.

January 23rd, The Granite State Savvy Club Meeting, New Boston, 11am. We will be teaching two horses how to pull a sled and/or skier from the saddle, using Love, Language and Leadership.
