I am a dedicated, hardworking 13 year old. I'm looking for a p/t job, being able to work 3 or 4 days a week at a small stable nearby( in the Moultonborough area). Starting basketball season I can only do 2 days a week(weekends). I can't do anything too big because of school and my commitment to my horse. I can do any barn job you need me to do including exercising, feeding, mucking, grooming ect... I have been riding since the age of five and am very versatile. I started off western at a barn in Meredith. Julie Lawrence has taught me how to everything I know from the time I was 8-11. I have also trained a little with Carol Dodge, then I switched to english and have trained with Barb Westerland, Nancy Guiotte, Dani Downing, and Joanna Murray. I have done western pleasure, english pleasure, hunter jumper and eventing. I have jumped a green four year old over 4 feet and have turned an 11 year old gelding after being barely touched for a year into an amazing horse. He was an amazing horse before, but after not being worked with for about a year he's forgot a lot. I own two horses of my own ( a retired 30 year old appaloosa and an 11 year old AQ). I am a very experienced rider for my age and have ridden all sorts of horses big or small. I am an experienced horse person at taking care of horses because I started at the age of nine. I am a very easygoing person and I am very good with horses. I am very gentle and patient. I am looking for a teenager who is willing to do 6 stalls and waters on Sat and Sun. mornings. In exchange you will be given a 12x12 matted stall and great turn out for your horse. You will need to purchase your own hay, shavings, grain and you will be responsible for your own stall cleaning the rest of the week. We are a small family owned stable in Mason. We have miles of trails right out the back of our property, outdoor is 100x200 (grass, completely wood fenced), and wonderful green pasture turn out.
