NEW PRICE!!!! 1998 Sundowner Valuelite (gooseneck), 2 horse slant load trailer for sale. This trailer is in like new condition, only has about 5,000 loaded miles! Extra high and wide to hold larger horses. Very generous size dressing room with two saddle racks and several bridle hooks. Rear tack area as well. This trailer is being sold AS IS. The trailer is in great shape, but the floor needs work. There is a problem with the material that sundowner used to make the floors on this model and that has caused them to rust prematurely. I am not sure of the extent of the problem, but I am told a welding shop can fix these for $3,000 or less. So I am offering this trailer for $5,000. This is a great deal on a great trailer. For Sale: 1998 Sundowner Sunlite all-aluminum 2-horse straight load bumper pull with non-skid loading ramp. The interior of this trailer is fully insulated. It has a 2-way air vent for each horse; padded breast and butt bars; fully matted floor; aluminum padded divider that is approximately 12” deep; a separate, detachable matted divider that attaches to the aforementioned divider and extends it to within 2” of the floor; separate aluminum head divider. Each stall is xx-tall and xx-wide, and is designed to safely accommodate larger breeds (my 17.1h 1500 lb Percheron fits quite comfortably, with room to spare). This trailer has tremendous flexibility, with the ability to remove any or all of the individual internal components; it will even easily convert to a single box stall. It has a number of tie-downs in the interior adding even more flexibility and storage options. Exterior has: extra-tall aluminum diamond plate gravel guard on the “V” front and on both fenders; locking escape doors with hold backs on each side; split double rear doors with hold backs; full-size spare tire mounted on the exterior; rear loading lights; screened, vented, and lockable windows all around – including the nose, escape doors, down the length of the trailer, and rear doors. This trailer will also come to you with over $1,000 of additional accessories, including a complete weight distribution system – yep, that’s hitch, ball, and bars – as well as a SportTote up-right saddle trunk. This trunk is made of lightweight plastic with wide wheels for easy transport over any terrain. It has two saddle racks; bridle racks; hooks for strap goods; storage in the top compartment; dry erase board and mirror mounted in lid. There are four tie-downs that I had professionally installed in the nose of the trailer where I strap this trunk in for shows, etc. Most importantly, I just brought this trailer to the Sundowner dealership who confirms that it is ALL ALUMINUM INCLUDING THE FRAME, and it is NOT at all affected by the issues noted in some of the steel-frame Sundowners. It is in absolutely beautiful, solid condition and has an exceptionally light, bright, and airy feel to it. Kingston four horse tag-a-long (bumper pull) trailer. 1976, triple axle, 7 feet high, 26 feet long, loaded weight around 10,000lbs. Has carpeted dressing room and tack compartment with saddle rack. (Room for 8 saddles.) Seven new tires in 2007. New brakes 2007. New pressure treated floor 2005. Painted 2005. Wiring checked and fixed in 2007. Put up on lift in 2007 to check frame, found good. Wheel bearings checked and repacked in 2007. Front two horses have mangers, back two TB style. Stud doors between. Head dividers all around. Dividers between horses are half, and are removable. Four escape doors. Fully matted. Plenty of ventilation. Ramp hinge needs welding, but trailer is in usable shape. Does have some rust and rot in exterior sheet metal here and there and is missing some interior padding. Has weight distributing hitch brackets and sway bar attachment. This is a sturdy, heavy, well-built trailer. They don't make them like this anymore. If you want to tow with a Suburban or van, or have a camper, this is a great alternative to a goose neck.
